Batman: The Killing Joke was directed by Sam Liu and based upon the graphic novel of the same name by Alan Moore and Brian Bolland. The film was produced by DC Comics and Warner Bros. Animation and published by Warner Bros. Pictures.

While it might be known as one of the more important stories in the rich history of the character, Batman: The Killing Joke can be a dicey topic for some fans. While it does give us a closer look at one of the more important villains in the past 100 years of fiction, it also shows just how little an other character can appear and still be used as a plot device.

So when the story was adapted into a DC Animated Film, the team wanted to add some more to the short story and make Batgirl have more narrative weight. But maybe they didn’t go about it the right way… Continue reading

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was produced by DC Entertainment, RacPac Entertainment, Atlas Entertainment and Cruel and Unusal Films. The film is distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Like many comic book fans, Batman has a special place in my heart. Growing up watching the 60s television series and the animated series based upon the tonally different Tim Burton films, showed the diversity in the character as his interpretation changed with the time.

So let’s take a look at his newest incarnation in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.

iZombie is produced by

iZombie is produced by Spondoolie Productions, Vertigo and Warner Bros. Television.

While Marvel has been taking the Movie world by storm, DC Comics and Warner Bros. have been using their many resources to stake their claim on the TV side. With four shows running on three networks (Constantine’s questionable future not with standing) and a few more on the way, it’s easy to forget a show like iZombie that has no attachment to the DC Universe.

Let’s discuss over a bowl of brains and noodles.
