We’ve seen enough comic book movies that it seems we need to get meta…like Mel Brooks levels of meta. And here to do that is the man in red, the merc with the mouth, the not Green Lantern himself, Deadpool. But is his first solo film any good?

April is a crazy month for TV. With Mad Men returning, Arrow/Flash starting to wrap up and Game of Thrones starting a new season it’s almost easy to forget that Daredevil is out on Netflix. The first in a series of five Netflix Marvel titles set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Daredevil comes onto the scene with a lot of steam.

So with that said, here’s a First Impression of Netflix’s Daredevil.

D&D Watches: Generation X

Filling out our Marvel TV Movies double feature is I Can’t Believe it’s not the X-Men, or simply Generation X. Watch as the same set for Xavier School is used from the first three movie, only this time Professor X, Wolverine and Magneto are replaced with bad English and Scottish Accents and poorly dressed Teens with lame powers. Marvel (pun intended) at Matt Frewer’s, yes Max Headroom himself, performance as he portrays a murder/Disney villain who jumps into dreams or something…I can’t tell you why this 90 minute time capsule didn’t lead to a show of it’s own. Also prep yourself for the Breaker High theme, just saying.

Generation X is owned by New World Entertainment and Marvel Entertainment.

D&D Watches: Dr Strange

And you thought the Captain America TV Movie was bad? Well it’s time for more Marvel TV Movies! This week we look at the original Peculiar Medical Professional Dr. Strange. Armed with not magic, but a perm and a sweet moustache Steven Strange goes from literal Medicine to fighting Lucille Bluth and a Power Rangers villain…or at least that’s what we got out of it. Benedict Cumberbatch has A LOT to live up to. Also learn to speak Spanish with the sweet subtitles that are throughout the video.

Dr. Strange (TV Movie) is owned by Universal Pictures.
